What a day. Ventured into town and posted a birthday card containing £20, did some shopping and picked up some flattened boxes to use for packing then home.
Just realised I left the boxes on the bus, then realised we'd posted the card without a stamp. This means that on the birthday, the postman will drop a card through letterbox stating an unstamped item is waiting collection at sorting office. Surcharge plus fee =?
Reluctant to do anything else today.
