Hi all
As a user of 8.1 on an MSI GT702PE Dominator Pro laptop, I have concerns over the W10 upgrade that I can receive free of charge.
I'm using a MSI GT702PE Dominator Pro laptop that has still a few months of warranty remaining. I'm concerned that if I download the upgrade and a fault develops on the laptop subsequently, can my supplier refuse to repair the laptop on the basis that it has been modified and is no longer "as sold"? As a user, I wouldn't be in a position to challenge them over this and they might attribute any fault to hardware or software changes caused by the upgrade.
I've looked all over the web for advice on this but I can't seem to get a definitive opinion anywhere. Right now, it's making me very cautious about proceeding with the upgrade!!
Thank you.
