Could someone please help me get my head round mobile Wi Fi and teathering and how it works. I see you can now get mobile wi fi apps for Android devices but is there a privacy issue with these and with the actual portable Wi Fi units you can buy?
There also appears to be a cost equation involved, is this a separate cost to whatever Wi Fi deal you have with an ISP. Any web site links if not to technical would be fine.
