Sometimes authors, or publishers, update Kindle books.
If you’d like to receive updates to your Kindle books automatically, you can turn on automatic updates for your books from the Manage Your Content and Devices page:
1. Go to the Manage Your Content and Devices (http://ift.tt/1CkmbFT) page.
2. Select the “Settings” tab from the left navigation bar.
3. Under the section titled, “Automatic Book Updates,” select On.
Note: If you have only read a few pages of a book it will, after updating, show as a "new book". Do not be concerned, it does not imply that you have purchased another copy of the book.
