I have an ageing desktop running Windows 7 (via XP and the one before that).
Up to now, it has accessed the internet through a USB wireless adapter and there have been no problems.
Recently, It would not connect to the internet and when I clicked on the icon in the task bar, I found that there were no connections available. Thinking that the device had failed, I purchased a new one, installed the driver via the supplied disk and the new one does not work either. There are still no connections available where previously there have been 5 or 6 listed.
My co-located laptop (on which I am writing this) is working fine.
Can anybody assist, please?
