The search function in Gmail will soon scour the Spam folder for missing emails that have either been mistakenly flagged by the user as spam or wrongly caught by Google's spam filter. |
Its only a small update in the Background but this update decreases the likelyhood of a Legit message going to Spam

Thanks to artificial intelligence, Google has cut the Gmail spam filter's false-positive rate -- where wanted emails are wrongly marked as spam -- down to 0.5 percent |
This will help out those people who have not set up Email filters or have a Higher Spam count
As for me, my "Spam folder" and direct to Trash filter rate is Zero to a Handful per month As well as Gmails Server side Filters taking out a lot
I have the custom filters in play which also redirect mail to custom folders and Forward and Collect from/to elsewhere ...Took me a bit of careful study over a few sessions :) Started with Keywords and Gmall does do wildcard detection too(on the Filters) I have not made any changes in several years
In fact, I could be deleting some of the early Keyword filters as there were made when I did have some spam rolling in in the early days of Gmail
I do not think this will be flagged
Gmail gets a tweak on the False positive Spam detection revision AI
