AJ wasnt a wrestling fan growing up. He isnt a mark for WWE or the bullshit fame. Hence why he stayed in TNA for years. He's a guy with a wife and kids, who's prime motive is to make money and provide for his kids. If he was that big of a mark for WWE, he'd have went there. There were plenty of opportunities.
