The unpredictability! Same reason I love movies with a great swerve and the same reason I'm a big MMA mark. A good plot is always important, but an unpredictable swerve is what you usually always remember about the movie. Tonight that's exactly what happened to me. Seth Rollins was the last member of the Shield I thought would turn.
In the beginning of the year they teased tension between Reigns and Ambrose. Seth was the peace maker who seemed committed to the group, and tried to smooth things out between them until he finally was fed up being the glue that kept them together. That whole story convinced me that Reigns or Ambrose would be the man who turned his back on the group for his own benefit.
Then tonight out of the blue Rollins turned on both Reigns and Ambrose. Something I never saw coming. I couldn't help but smile as one of my favorite factions of all time had officially split up. And I realized a good swerve is what I look forward to every time I watch WWE.
How did you guys feel about the turn? Even though the Shield is the best thing going I can't help but be completely satisfied with how things ended. All I can think about is what will happen next week. Where are they going for here? How am I going to get through the week with enough patience for next Monday. And that's a feeling WWE should have you feeling at the end of Raw.
