Hi
I have an Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 tablet, using Android (I think!) 4.4.
A few weeks ago I decided to clear out some apps I wasn't using as it was needing to be recharged every couple of days, regardless of whether I had used it or not and I thought that might help.
One of the apps I decided to uninstall was Kaspersky Phound. As it's a security app designed to let you know when your tablet has been stolen, it asked me for a PIN number, but when I installed the app, I didn't create PIN number, so I now can't get back into my tablet. I've tried the usual 0000, 1234 etc but nothing I can think of works, I've even tried PIN numbers I've used in the past just in case I did create one and have forgotten.
I emailed Kaspersky who told me how to remove it by using the PIN number, but obviously that didn't help! Is there anyway to bypass it or uninstall the app without needing the PIN or a way to reset the tablet? There's no obvious reset button or 'hole to put a pin in' that I can find.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks very much,
Ian.
