Hi,
I am in the throws of upgrading my Sony Laptop to W_10, but am in a quandary about whether or not to go for the total wipe, or upgrade whats there.
There is nothing on there I could not reload on.
The main issue is drivers.
Sony's website says there are no drivers available for Windows 10.
It also says the drivers on my model (SVT1311B4E) have passed a basic test.
If I choose to do a total wipe, I would hope that the drivers will be OK.
It IS my preferred option (clean installs are best).
I have a Macrium Backup, I have the restore media to take it back to factory settings (with W_7), and there is probably a restore Partition (as the numbers don't add up otherwise.)
My feelings are to go for the Full wipe, and hope it all comes back. :)
If it doesn't, I could restore back to factory settings and try again, or use my Macrium rescue media (yes iso created and put onto USB with Rufus and tested) :)
Thoughts on this?
Thanks

To Wipe, or not to wipe...
