When I did the Windows Update for October Microsoft also posted a Link here to install Windows 10 Pro ,which is ticked ! (Optional though) on my Windows 7 Professional machine Thankfully despite report that it been downloaded already I only see the Link to a 2699 MB download for 10 Pro >I have not clicked on the Get Windows 10 link (in the tool tray) yet Nor have I made any Key file transfers yet of items that cannot be "carried over" a day or 2 work Plus I have to make some hardware upgrades (Fitting extra RAM and a New graphics card on that PC)
I also note the major Threshold 2 installer "fix" update is to land on Windows 10 Shortly(see links below)
so we'll look out for that and install 10 then .
Next up almost immediately, we begin assembling the other Bitsa "New PC" install Windows 7 Home Commission it (Get it Online) and then Update Windows (for the Get Windows 10 Link) then Upgrade to Windows 10 Home ASAP
Why am I waiting for the Threshold 2 update? :Next Major Windows 10 Update 'Threshold 2' Will Make Upgrading From Older Versions A Whole Lot Simpler
No firm release date fixed but the money is on November OK?
