Recently I had a problem with one on the images in my signature which was pointed out to me by Cantrel and sjw, probably others too. It looked like the image in this post:

It turns out that the problem was with ImageShack who host my pics - and those of many others too. I've had an email from them and the problem has now been resolved, which is a great relief!
