I am currently working with a Lot of image files for my work and hate the way MS disabled the ability to move files into a different order except by using "sort by" except on the desktop. I see a lot of posts on MS forums where they say that was done deliberatly because "it simply does not make any sense to be able to do that anywhere else".
Apart from the fact that I hate being told by some corporate fool that because I want to rearrange files into a suitable order based on the picture content rather than its name or size, it makes my job Much harder not being able to switch them around to decide on the final order for my presentation. I now have to keep renaming everthing to move it around!!
In case you were wondering i was using the hated Vista until recently (i wont use w8 or w10).
PLEASE tell me there is an easy (and registry safe!) fix for this??
