May be this is custom localised to your Location Tell me what shows on the Google Maps page (image or Photosphere) when you click on the United Kingdom words...In my case it showed this view (albeit on a slightly misty day) Just below the TV transmitter mast on Winter Hill Near Horwich.The Little Tower is called Rivington Pike (to the North end)
and if you look down the Hill(looking east) you can just about see just some of the Big reservoirs which supply the Northwest with Drinking water(Between Bolton and Darwen)
Beyond that the Lancashire Moors Begin properly
PS Had it been on the Other side on a Clear visibilty day you can see most of the North Wales Coastline Snowdonian Mountains, Liverpool also the Cooling Towers @ Fiddlers Ferry Power station near Widnes also the Runcorn Widnes Bridge span or clean up to the Lake District shifting viewpoints by a few minutes walk (to the Rivington Pike end):cool: The Albert Hall (London)is the Main image Ok?
