I have a Dell Inspiron laptop and upgraded to Win10. Since then the 'Realtec' Microphone has malfunctioned. Principally, it will not work with either Skype or Cortana. However, when I switch on the laptop, the mike has a lot of feedback and I have to reduce the sound level to stop it. After that I can tap the top of the laptop cover and can hear the 'tap' from the speakers.
I have been on the Microsoft Windows Community forum and it is full of this problem and nothing suggested has so far worked.
My computer engineer friend says even one of his machines is effected.
Microsoft seem not to be taking this seriously even though it is obviously effecting many people.
1. anyone else here got the same problem.
2. anyone got a fix......please!!!!!
