Am I the only one confused by cloud storage services and concluding that they are very badly designed with no flexibility.
I want my stuff on my laptop hard disk and I want it in the cloud too.
But OneDrive makes me have another folder on my laptop with all the same stuff so it's all on there twice taking up space inefficiently.
I believe Google Drive is the same.
Why can't I pick individual folders or files that I want to sync and just have one copy in each place?
Can anyone recommend a better service that will do things as I want rather than as they want?
Also, while I'm ranting, I've just got a new 8.1 laptop and almost the first thing it does is start syncing back all my OneDrive stuff from my other PC - hindering me doing anything else online and using all my bandwidth.
I didn't ask it to do this and it didn't ask me if I wanted it to !!!
