I have a survey task coming up and I feel that a Smartphone will be an Invaluable tool for taking snapshots making measurements and it'll be downloaded to my PC for reference Via SID card
Now I do not have such a device and am not certain I can lend one off a friend, or relative
As for Telecom shops they want to sell it to you with a long term contract
I estimate the whole exercise would take us a day, 2 days Maximum But What shop will hire out such a device for such a short time?
I've made some inquiries and the only companies that are doing such a service are in London (I'm 200 Miles north of London!)
And with using the Apps Locally I'm not using any Internet (all Data is going to an SID memory Card)
Besides the big names does anyone know who will hire me such a device?
Failing that , a Go Pro type camera would be a good substitute.
Any Websites or Street Address's for those?
