AVG Internet Security 2015

I have been using AVG Anti-Virus Free for years with no problems. In the last month or so, every time I switch on my PC, I get a message saying that I have so many days to purchase it. Isn't AVG free any more?

If it isn't, please can someone suggest the best free anti-virus software?
