Ive been thinking about this for quite a while. Since Triple H came up with the A+ Player thing. I thought it would be a great idea to see how the people here on WrestleZone could see which wrestlers, tag teams, and factions Ive randomly thought of and see how they are viewed factually A+ Players by the wrestling industry.
I am however giving you this one rule, put your bias for your favorite and most hated wrestler/tag team/faction aside and think out of the box realistically. Im not a fan of John Cena, but hes an A+ player, thats how hes pushed, presented and promoted . Im a fan of RVD, but he was never an A+ player.
Just for the hell of it Ive also added indie wrestlers, comedy wrestlers, and jobbers. Now I know a lot of indie wrestlers aren't A+ Players if they performed in the big leagues, but what the hell, right?
Anyways, here are the labels and their definitions:
- A+ Player = Proven legit main eventers. In the top echelon, the top section, the top category, the franchise guy, Wrestlers that contain that intangible x-factor as Obamartins aka nWoWolfpackTV would put it.
- Main Event Role Player = These guys are main eventers also, but just a hair away from being part of that top echelon that only consist of A+ players. At times mostly acts as a role player to the A+ player, or are just not as presented, pushed, and promoted as A+ players are. You might as well call them A players.
Role Players = They are in the section/echelon below the A+ player top echelon. The type of wrestlers who are exactly what they are, either semi main eventers and/or upper mid carders, only time theyre a main eventer is when they wrestle an A+ player, the type of talent that helps to fill up the numbers in the Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble.
Just to make it short and easy for you guys, the only ones you to label are the ones who truly are A+ Players, and if you want to, the ones that are just a hair below them, Main Event Role Players. Remember, it's not based on a certain part of their career or their time in a specific promotion, I'm talking about their career AS A WHOLE. Tag Teams and Factions included.
