So What Does the WWE Do Now?

Since the news broke yesterday of Roman Reigns having emergency surgery, the WWE has all of a sudden found itself in a word, almost faceless.

If you look at the roster the only faces left at the top are Cena, Ambrose, Ziggler and Sheamus. I didn't include Swagger, enough said about him, he's not main event material right now.

Ziggler and Sheamus are in feuds of their own and are holding the IC and US titles respectively, so don't see either of them competing for the top title anytime soon. Cesaro I might have considered but for some reason only know to the WWE, they've kept him a heel, and halted his push. Which if you think about what's happened, this has been a huge mistake.

So what are the option's here? Bryan is out indefinitely, but surely will rejoin the main event picture on his return. Barrett is also out, but could easily come back at face, whenever he returns. Orton to revitalize his character, could turn face for awhile anyway, just to even up the numbers.

Yea, can the you see the problem. The WWE has painted themselves into a corner, by pushing Reigns and de-pushing everyone else who had a chance of taking the top spot. It's pretty clear that Cena needs a break from carrying this company on his back all this time. And they are quickly with all the injuries occurring running out of people.

Unless this gives them the chance to bring up some of the NXT guys, Neville, Zayn, not into the main event scene. But you still have the problem of what to do with the guys at the top and who to push next.
