As with Reigns vs. Rollins, WWE.com has announced that Y2J will take on The Viper at Night of Champions.
Somewhat ironic really in that this bout, which once would've been capable of headlining just about any ppv, is ultimately just a match designed to get both guys on the card. Given Orton's unprovoked attack on Jericho in the locker room, I'm a little surprised this match is happening. With Jericho's knee "injured" and the "injury" being further aggravated because of Orton's attack, I would've thought it was a way of writing Chris Jericho off TV.
It should still be a pretty solid bout all in all and I'm thinking that Orton picks up the win and this will be the last we see of Jericho, at least until it's time for WrestleMania season.
