Can't Send Emails?

Hi folks, I recently changed my password in my Hotmail Account, which took ages to do? (it kept rejecting my new passwords?)

I can now receive and read my Emails, but I can't send any?

I have to use my Yahoo account to do that, any ideas as to what I have done wrong, please.:confused:
