I have a chum who drives in "sunglasses" at night (yellow tint) ... he's so convinced they improve his vision that he's just ordered a pair of prescription tinted varifocals.
I've tried "nightowls" ... and they do nothing for me except turn headlights yellow. My night vision is pretty good, even if I'm starting to need glasses for reading - my problem is bright lights ... I wear (amber) sunglasses - even on a cloudy day.
When I started looking further - I was amazed just what's possible with a bit of plastic.... there's more to it that I'd imagined. I'm not trying to spam sunglasses ...
Try here for a colour blindness test http://ift.tt/Tp2JNL
There's been research for a treatment for colour blindness ...
and they say that a single coloured lens can help some forms of dyslexia and migraine
