Following the advice in WU, I have decided to upgrade my 4 year old HP Pavilion laptop (running Window 7 Home Premium) after the dust has settled, and leave my 2 year old Dell PC to continue running with Windows 7 Home Premium.
This may help to avoid confusing the wife (who uses the Dell), until I have found out how to drive Windows 10.
I understand that the best way would be for me to use an ISO file burned to a DVD as this would provide a copy for any future use.
Will the Download from Microsoft be an ISO file? and if not, how do I convert it to burn to a DVD. (Perhaps I am missing something, but as a Silver surfer I am getting a bit confused with all the information I have read).
Also, would it be best to do a Factory Reset on the HP Laptop, which is loading and running slow anyhow, (backing up all the data first of course) before upgrading to Windows 10.
Would I need to download any latest Drivers before upgrading? If so, which would be the best way please.
Any help would be appreciated.
