firefox problem or ???????

I am a virgin media customer and when i log in to there website to check my bills etc it opens fine with my name etc but when i want to anything else all i get is the wheel of fortune going around and nothing loads and there is only so much time you can look at that before the kettle boils. Using firefox Win 7

When i use chrome on my tablet it opens fine all pages and opens in i-pad no problem.

Any ideas.
