TNA Losing TV Ratings But Not Paying Big Contracts -- More Revenue?

TNA didn't resign Styles, Bad Influence, Sting, Hulk, Sabin, etc and people swore they were going out of business that this was the end.....They saved millions of dollars by not paying those guys and only suffered a .04 drop in the ratings (average)......

So wouldn't that mean in reality letting those guys walk and freeing up that money was a brilliant move because it didn't affect the ratings at all.......

My point of view would be why pay 5 million when you can get similar production for 2 million.

If I'm not understanding this clearly, than can someone correct me? But my current understanding is given the current state of affairs at TNA, if you removed a large/huge salary and only suffered a small dip in the ratings that you would actually come out ahead in the money earned department.

Wouldn't this be a good move? not a negative one?
