A fellow member of our computer club has donated an HP all in one PC, 24" screen, to the club and installed Windows 10. Such a nice lad!
Anyway, tother night I spent the entire session having a look around this machine, hadn't even heard of one before. As well as experiencing W10 and being impressed I was also taken with the PC itself.
I'm considering a new Dell for later in the autumn and keeping this one for storage. More and more the idea of maybe, just maybe, an all in one would suit me fine considering space in this room and on my desk. No tower cluttering it up for starters.
Had a word with the generous lad, asking why he gave it away, as you do. Had it been a headache over the time since buying. Not really said he, he just needed space and being in a generous mood thought his gesture would be appreciated. Being the cynic, I did not pursue further, thinking, right, are these all in one's not upto performance expected or what?
Thought this would be a good place to pick a few brains and see if they are worth the buying.
Over at Dell, there's the Inspiron 23 5000 with touchscreen, (although that's not a must have for me). Decent specs and the price £649 suits my bank balance.
