Correct me if Im wrong here Please

Its all about backing up the operating system in windows ten.
Been looking into the Macrium Reflect software and yes it does look good and easy to use.

My question is.When we do a backup of the C drive using reflect,We make the backup to an external HDD then we must make a recovery disc.
Then on the occasion the pc goes wrong we have to insert the recovery disc in the drive then find out what key to press on the keyboard then select the boot point then find the destination of the backup made on an external drive then it all fires up and away it all goes.
Windows running again,Well done.

Now I have been looking at the other option of the clone system,If I decide to get two SSD drives big enough to accommodate the operating sytem.
Call the first disc A then call the second one B.
Now make a clone of the C drive on the A drive and also make a clone on the B drive to be on the safe side.
Make sure that you keep those two in a secure place incase of a problem with the C drive.

If the C drive goes caput you just remove the existing drive and fit the drive A and bob's u'r uncle the pc is up and running,Now we have a drive B that is good and a bad C drive.Format the bad drive ready to use as another A drive again just incase.
The only point is how often should one make a copy of your C drive ??.Looking at my thoughts would that be a far quicker method to get the pc back to up and running rather that looking for the recovery disc and working out what key to tap on the keyboard.

I would like to know some of your feelings on this Please,Maybe I'm wrong in thinking that way.
It was a brain wave that I had the other night while laying there waiting for shut eye.

Many Thanks.Looking forward to hear you thoughts.:)
