This is Vivaldi's first beta! If you're running one of the earlier development versions, you probably won't be able to get this beta version by going to Help>Check for Updates, but there's a link in the browser already for you to download it. Otherwise you can read more about it and download it here:

I was running Snapshot 1.0.303.48 and the beta version - 1.0.303.52 - installed over it with no trouble. All bookmarks and extensions were unaffected as usual following an update.
