Flash Player for 10

Hi Forumites,
If like me you are new to Win 10, I thought this piece of info might be useful to you. Thanks to Softpedia where I found this copy while searching around for an explanation regarding whether Adobe Flash was updated automatically or not.

(

Microsoft has just released a brand new update for Internet Explorer on Windows 10, fixing a security bug in Adobe Flash Player which comes by default on modern versions of the browser.

Adobe itself rolled out new versions of Flash Player to fix the found vulnerabilities, but because of the fact that this particular browser add-on is bundled by default in Internet Explorer, Microsoft has to patch the application every time a new security update is being released.

The best thing about this is that users do not need to manually download the new version of Flash Player every time an update is released, but instead wait for Microsoft to ship it via Windows Update. Download and installation are performed automatically, so no user input is required.

Gabriel Aul, who's the number one Microsoftie keeping us in touch with all things related to Windows 10, has revealed on Twitter that the update is now being shipped to all computers enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, so if you're running the testing version of the new OS, the patch should already be there. (Ends)

I didn't really want to load Flash, but I do like to have a blast of music and see what WU forum's "Let's Rock" has in new so did not have a lot of choice. Anyway apologies to all of you already in the know re this, but hope it of use to Win 10 learners.

Might have to buy the Win 10 mag, but I like the actual research to learn the OS. By the way WU, the Mag would make a good prize for WU Letters prize, or a £25 quid mug of course. lol:p

fosseway.
