Would like some help with my query. When I finish using my computer in the evening I normally do the following .....(1) Shut down the computer, take the
battery out and press the stop/start button a few times to drain the system of
any remaining power. (2) Turn off the Wireless Modem completely. In other
words a COMPLETE shutdown.
I remember reading somewhere that it is advisable to leave the Modem on as
stop/starting it can somehow disrupt it and may even damage it.
I should like to know what the forum feels in the matter.
