When I first joined the insiders I used my Misrosoft account ... because there wasn't an alternative.
Doing some reading on the activation process - it now looks like MS will take what they're given ... So I'm going to start again - this time using my "proper" gmail account...
I've just restored windows 7 from my trusty image ...
it's taken just short of 10 mins.
I'm currently typing this - and checking for updates since the image was made in Feb.... (43 + 1 optional!!) - so I'll install those and then upgrade my up-to-date Win 7 ... and see what happens.
There are a number of dot net updates ... so I suspect I might need to work in batches ..
