Hi,
I have a neighbour who, like me, runs W7 on a laptop.
He asked me to back up his HDD to his 1TB external drive using the back up facility provided in W7. His external drive is showing 953GB free space.
I first make a start up disc and then begin to create a system image. 2 or 3 minutes into the process I receive a window stating there is not enough space to install a shadow copy etc. His C drive totals only 50gbs 'approx.
Nonplussed I return with my own external HDD on which shows there is 100gb of free space on it and receive the same message.
Any advice appreciated.
