An excellent Product Test feature by Andy Shaw in the latest issue, 377. Well worth the reading by your average user, or even the most experienced in my opinion.
As yet, my reserved copy of Windows 10 has not been made available, which I'm even grateful for, being in no hurry. As late as possible is my wish and Andy confirmed this in the final part of the feature.
"For Windows 8 users it is a sensible choice. But for Windows 7 users, it's not so clear cut. It remains relatively free from additional nonsense such as touch screen apps and voice activated assistants..."
"Although you should take advantage of the free W10 upgrade before 28 July 2016, we would recommend you leave it as long as possible if you're still happy using W7"
Champion! That's just what I needed to hear, thanks Andy.
