i upgraded to fibre yesterday and have little or know problems all of my devices connect, tablet, phone, pc, sky box and fire stick however my laptop is point blank refusing; it is recognizing the connection is there but each time i put the password in it just says failed to connect.
the router is a HUAWEI HG633
the laptop is a dell inspiron a few years old
i tried changing the channel on the router from automatic to 11 but that made no difference, one of my friends says that older laptops run on 2.4GHz not 5GHz but in the setting both are enabled.
