I am trying to find a simple downloadable database package for keeping home contact records on my W7 desktop. I am vaguely aware of MS Access but my impression is that the user has to spend time configuring it to suit his needs. CRM systems (we use Goldmine at work) are by definition pre-configured which would be an advantage.
There are freebie / low-cost CRM packages on offer on the internet but from my research all these are online / cloud based. Does anyone know of a simple non-cloud one? [I have come across some open source CRM ones but it seems that these are intended for developers and people with programming time and abilities]
