Hello Web User friends. I have suddenly encountered a YM problem. I am using 64 bit Windows 8.1. It has been working fine since I had this pc 8 months ago but now, when I type a message in a chat box when I click to send the message it is not shown in the chat box although the recipient does get the message. Likewise, when someone sends me an IM in YM I don't see it. But if I have YM and Yahoo Mail both open I can see all messages, even the ones sent by me from YM.
I have un and re-installed YM. I have updated Java and Flash player. I have even checked what is sometimes seen, and is a known problem, of an additional rogue file in the registry and the problem isn't there.
This seems to be quite a common problem after I Googled it. Has anyone else encountered it and fixed it ? If so I would be very grateful for any help that could be sent my way.
