I've mentioned here before Curry's is a store where I prefer to check out an item such as a TV but prefer buying it elsewhere. Here's a good reason why.
A guy buys a 65 inch TV which develops a problem, pixels on the screen went blank.
Returned to a Curry's store, it was discovered to be a fly stuck in the back, the buyer was informed the damage was not covered by the warranty, this being an 'act of God' and the store refused to repair it for free. Cost would be £95.
I've heard of a few good 'uns worth a chuckle even experienced one personally but this one is priceless.
However, the buyer persisted and finally Curry's have apologised and the TV is being repaired for free.
