Not had an update on Ian for a while ... thought I'd update those who know him.
Basically I'm happy(ish) to report ... nothing to report about are old chum Ian :D
I think it's true that his kids have finally all flown the coop, and seem quite content and happy making their own way in the world ... although they all still live close.
... He's getting a bit of well earned him time which him and Mrs M are making the most of.
... His troubles are under control ... the doctors say that while his current treatment isn't having much on an effect on the gremlins ... equally nor is it (or the gremlins) having much effect on him either ... so he's felt well enough to have been somewhere warm on holiday ... and both he and his wife sounds to have had a dashed good time ...
In the same vein of no news being good news ... I'll be keeping in touch with him ... but won't be nagging either him or you about the obvious.... Obviously I will report back if anything worth reporting comes up - but hopefully it won't for a long time. As I've said - no news ... :D
