Just had a really strange thing happen.
Went t restart my Desktop PC, when it took an absolute age = over 20 minutes.
It ten stayed on the POST? screen - again for about 10 minutes.
Eventually it started to Wndows 10 (my main OS, and the default boot)
However, it only saw certain Hard drives.
My Documents (on a Separate SATA HDD) was not showing, nor was another SATA HDD.
I have restarted it again, and although it got to the POST screen, it has now put up a message "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_ "
I'm thinking motherboard here?
Rebooting again, gives POST screen, selecting del (to enter BIOS) is giving a hang up on auto-detecting the SATA3G...
Has detected 5,6 & 1, but not 2,3 & 4
Stopped PC, disconnected both SATA HDDs, and rebooted.
Booting to W8.1 SSD
restarted, booted to BIOS
altered Boot priority to W10 SSD as first boot device.
Now booting OK to W10,
Maybe not Mobo?
Ideas?
