Doesn't Look Like Daniel Bryan Returning Anytime Soon.

Didn't see this on a thread anywhere else so here goes. According to Dave Meltzer it looks like Daniel Bryan might be out longer than anticipated. 2 days ago Meltzer reported that Bryan still isn't regaining the strength in his arm and might require Tommy John surgery.

Tommy John surgery is named after the Dodges pitcher who had it back in the 1970's. It basically involves reconstructing the tendons around the elbow, by replacing them with other tendons from elsewhere in the body. I might be wrong on that, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

John was out of action for an entire season after he went through it, so if Daniel Bryan has to have this he might be out until well after Wrestlemania. Now we've all been talking about him and Reigns coming back shortly, but if he isn't ready for another 6-8 months what does that do for the title picture?

I had assumed myself that Bryan would come back, get his title shot and win the belts back, leaving Reigns to remain on his push and possibly winning them in Dallas. I can't see Reigns winning the title in San Jose, it's far to early and he's missed a lot of time during this run up.

This leaves the WWE in one hell of a position if the reports are true. Bryan won't be back until well into next year. Reigns is coming back, but needs time to re-establish himself. Cena can't be the guy again through 2015 the fans will go crazy, they want new faces. Same with Orton, even with a face turn, he's still Orton. So does it fall to Ambrose and Rollins to keep this boat afloat? I'm outta ideas cause everytime I get one it goes tits up. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
