The reason I ask is that I could see both of them gaining a respect for each other after battling each other a few times. They both brought it last night and I really wondered for a minute after the match if Rusev was going to attack him again or show a possible sign of respect. Of course he didn't and took out Zeb.
I know there is a lot of heat left in this battle, but I do wonder if they could ever join as a team down the road, leading to a Rusev face turn. Lana could go wrestle with the Divas to give her something to do.
There would be no need for Rusev's turn now since the whole Russia deal makes the crowd super patriotic. Maybe when all of that gets old, it could be an option. A year down the road maybe....who knows. Rusev will likely continue to get pushed as a singles guy, but if they didn't have a program for him, they could always go the tag route.
