This according to F4WOnline, that is.
It's also being said AAA are also interested, naturally.
With his 90-Day No-Compete Clause, this would prevent him from making his potential debut with TNA until at least the first week of November, by my count. Not that I have any interest whatsoever in seeing him in TNA in the first place.
If you ask me, he's a prime example of a guy with WWE stink on him, who TNA really shouldn't be interested in bringing in for exactly that reason. It's been a constant complaint from the fan base over the last four or five years, and they've done a really great job of late in finally building up their own internal talent (ECIII, Spud, Shaw and others). ADR flies in the face of that progress in every conceivable way. He's a throwback (or maybe more like a relapse) to the style that got them in trouble in the first place, which was, in essence, to take anyone with WWE experience and parade them out on TNA television with minimal change in trying to capitalize on their popularity.
Nothing about Del Rio's actual skill set should warrant this.
But hey, that's just me. Someone else can argue in favor of him.
