On Sunday, we saw a bunch of rivals face off against each other in one fashion or another. What we didn't see was enough title defenses. Now, on a normal PPV, this wouldn't be that much of a problem, but this is SummerSlam. The BIGGEST party of the summer, one of the cornerstones of the WWE and the USOs and Sheamus are relegated to Lumberjacks? What is more confusing is you have a "flag match" with Rusev and Swagger, which is probably the dumbest match I've seen since the pink slip on a pole match, instead of showcasing your champions in the company.
Now I know there is NoC coming up, but a PPV like SummerSlam should also have your "best" in the business. Otherwise, take the title off of them and give it to someone else. Another idea would be to get rid of the titles altogether since they don't really seem to mean much anymore. The Uso's are the best Tag Team going today in the WWE and it shows how much they don't care about the division.
Same thing with Sheamus. Can Someone tell me when the last time that title was defended? Don't worry, ill wait. Between the last 2 US Champs, that title may have been defended twice. They should just combine the IC and US titles and get rid of it since it's not used at all. Just my thoughts. What do you think?
